Coaches Time Out Conference - July 22-24

Our 1st Coaches Conference was July 22nd to 24th at Cypress Bend Resort on Toledo Bend! It won’t be our last! In my 21 years with FCA, this may be the best event we have ever had! We had 68 coaches and their spouses from all over Louisiana with us for an amazing weekend! They heard from Ken Smith, former Chaplain for Bobby Bowden, Brad Scott, and Jackie Sherrill, Jon and Kelly Randles and Jeff Duke. Jeff teaches 3 Dimensional Coaching at the University for Central Florida. Jeff is FCA’s National Director for Coaching Ministry. We had workshops for the coaches on finances, led by Gary Bellwith Ron Blue & Co., and marriage relationships led by Jon and Kelly Randles. Jeff Dukeled a workshop on “motivation” from his 3D Coaching Pyramid. One of the most special times of the weekend was when the coaches and spouses went to “community groups”. They were able to discuss different issues that they are dealing with. Most of the groups were split where the women and men were separated. We heard some amazing comments from coaches and spouses after this time together. The conference ended with a special “commissioning ceremony”. In their community groups, the coaches prayed over each other. God moved in the hearts of everyone that attended. Research shows that COACHES are the most influential people in America. Who is “coaching the coaches’? FCA!
