2010 FCA Leadership Camp

Summer Camp 2010 is shaping up to be one of the best camps that has ever been held in North Louisiana.  With this year's theme being "Unleash the Power" we are truly pumped  and challenged to help prepare students to "get in the game" on their campuses and make a difference for Christ.  If you are not sure what camp is all about, then let me give you a little insight. 

It will be a week of “inspiration and perspiration” for all athletes and coaches who want to take the challenge. You will be equipped to reach your potential through comprehensive spiritual and leadership training.  The Louisiana FCA Leadership Camp is a co-ed camp for students and adult sponsors who serve on the leadership team in their school's FCA group.  The schedule incudes practical tips for Christian gtrowth as well as organizational, leadership, spiritual, and motivational tips for leading an effective FCA on campus.

Whether you are a "new" or "old" FCA Huddle Officer, you will be full of confidence and inspiration after attending this camp.  You will be receiving training from top FCA staff, huddle leaders, and youth workers who have years of experience in youth ministry.  You will also gain insight and tips on how to effectively reach your shcool for Christ through your FCA Huddle.  College Huddle Leaders will be working with you "hands on" to prepare you for the upcoming school year.

When is Camp?

The dates for camp this summer are June 2 - 5.  Registration will be from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on June 2nd.  We will dismiss on June 5 at 12:00 p.m.

Where is Camp?

Leadership Camp will be held at Camp Bethany in Bethany, LA.  It is located 15 miles sothwest of Shreveport, LA.  Camp Bethany is a beautiful Retreat and Camp Facility with great fields and courts for sports, air conditioned cabins, great food, a nice pool, rec room, and a pond for fishing.  The location is ideal to get away and allow God to refresh and rejuvenate you as you prepare for Him to use you as a leader in your school.

Directions: Take I-49 North to I-20 in Shreveport.  Take  I-20 West to Exit 3 and go South on U.S. 79 to Bethany, LA.  Camp Bethany is 6 miles south of    I-20 on the right.
